AirMATION goes green with a totally new designed blower/motor, the very heart of our system. The world's first high efficiency ECM motor to replace PSC motors while using up to 75% fewer watts. New technology advances with proven results on ECM (electronically commutated motor) allows for immediate energy savings thereby translating to immediate operational savings.

ECM technology is based upon a brushless-DC permanent magnet motor that is vastly more efficient than PSC motors. Advanced motor design allows for a more efficient and quieter operational performance, better air quality and airflow control while providing significant cost savings.

With advanced motor control features up to 5 different speed settings are possible, allowing for a wide range of operational options. With the various options the motor can operate between 1/10 and 1 HP depending upon the application. The motor is designed to provide constant torque operation thereby automatically adjusting its performance based upon changing operational conditions.

Features like rotational sensing allow for the motor to properly adjust for the correct operational direction. 120,208,230, 50/60 Hz voltage allows connection to virtually any power source anywhere in the world. The motor's intelligent controls monitor the incoming voltage and cycles, then automatically adjusts to operate at the existing conditions with no performance loss.

Power surging is a thing of he past as the intelligent controls gradually ramp up the speed to avoid electrical surging. Motor efficiency improves by over 35% compared to a standard PSC motor while power consumption is reduced by 75%. The motor's operation being better controlled and monitored provides for much quieter and longer lasting operation. Built-in thermal overloads and sealed ball-bearings will provide years of maintenance free operation.

Constant Fan setting (CF) is a user choice option. It allows the unit to constantly filter and re-circulate air while operating at a very minimal 1/10th HP. This reduced energy consumption cycle keeps the air constantly moving while continually filtering and redistributing it, almost silently. Airborne particulate, odors, fumes, are removed from the airstream, prevented from lingering and creating that "stale" and "stagnant" air smell during off hours, for less than 50 cents a day in energy consumption. Units can be manually or automatically reactivated to full power during regular working hours.
