How they work
Air One, Inc. Disc Fans are an
alternative to conventional nozzle based water atomizing misting systems.
The Disc Fan operates on fan forced air and a spinning disc that emits
water droplets. Disc Fans operate at slow speeds, provide a small droplet
size (20-micron) and use less water (10-gallons per hour) and energy than
conventional systems. They are the most practical and economical
alternative for odor and dust suppression in recycling facilities and
smaller transfer stations. Designed for use as a cooling / humidification
product, the unit is simple, cost-effective and durable.
Product Features and Advantages
Simple Operation
Disc Fans use a simple air
assisted centrifugal water flow system that atomizes water into tiny
droplets (20-micron). They do not use nozzles, high pressure pumps or
compressors.
Durable and Reliable
The Disc Fans come in epoxy
coated steel or stainless steel housings. Motors and fans are duty rated
for consistent performance and reliability.
Water Management
Spray volume is completely
adjustable from 0-gallons per hour (gph) up to 10-gph. The system can be
operated on domestic water supply pressure or a low pressure booster
pump.
